Abstract

Starting from the Genette’s reflection concerning immanence
of literary work and texts, the article analyzes the implication
of this postulate in the criticism sector. In fact, this postulate
will be questioned and even scrutinized in the way that it is
referred to by a genetic approach of the subject such as the
lexicometric assistance required by thematic studies. The
lexical statistics abuse the endogenous concept which is a
transformation of immanence. Time and discussion test the
necessity of turning to interpretive semantics in order to describe
textual genesis and give sense to lexical statistics.
