The three installments that constitute Immanence in Question do not aim to establish the meaning that is intended to give to immanence, as an encyclopedia entry would. Quite the contrary, if something can be affirmed is that the inquiry about this problem has been updated with its different postures and interpretations. The major acquisition of these reflections and one of their concluding points would be that the question about immanence is one of the distinctive features of semiotics.
In this third installment, immanence emerges as a double dynamic: a semiotic instance that owns its own strategies to constitute and manifest itself, or a competence to accomplish the semiotic practices.
