Abstract

The Article tries to reveal the axiology underlying representation of sensorialities in the object that constitutes a trompe l’oeil. It is based on the example of Limoges porcelain to reveal the difficulty of the strategic situation of certain materials considered precious which, in order to renew their image are forced into pejoration and represent common values by means of noble materials.
